Both Botox and Dysport are both approved by the FDA for use in treating wrinkles. Each is Botulinum toxin type A, however there are differences. To determine which is best in your case, I would recommend consulting with your doctor or finding an experienced provider of both. It's important when considering such a treatment to find an experienced dermatologist or surgeon who has the necessary training to select the device or product that's right in your particular case.

Experience is critical with any cosmetic treatment. Training, experience, education, credentials, these are the things which help ensure a safe outcome. Often I see patients who think a simple injection is the same regardless or who administers it. After all, it's the same drug, right? The answer is yes, but how it's used, where, how often, alternatives, these are things that experience teaches. It's worth it to pay more for an experienced provider because you're likely to feel better about your outcome.
