Our physicians will diligently evaluate patients with a variety of medical diagnoses, ranging from neoplastic (cancer) diseases, to congenital (birth defects), to cosmetic interests. Their comfort in this matter emanates from their academic background and continued interest in academic endeavors. Our physicians' qualifications, along with their exemplary bedside manners (as praised by their patients), will be the cornerstone of every interaction with their patients.
Botulinum toxin injections are the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures performed in the world. Most know these treatments by their brand names, Botox® or Dysport®. These drugs are used to treat dynamic lines on the forehead and face. These are the wrinkles and fine lines which develop when we move our muscles and which, due to our aged skin’s lack of elasticity, create deep furrows in our skin which remain. These dynamic lines are very effectively treated with injections of botulinum toxin. The drug works by relaxing these facial muscles, allowing the skin to become smoother and more youthful.
Each year more than 2 million people in the United States, and millions more worldwide, rely on Botox® and Dysport ® injections to improve the look and feel of their facial skin. While effective and proven safe in many clinical trials over the years, the application of any such drug must be performed by an experienced provider, preferably one with many years of experience and knowledge of the skin. Call today to schedule a consultation to learn more about your treatment options and cost.
